What we do

The following list includes Unitywater’s dedicated water supply and sewerage services for the community:

• Providing a reliable water supply to residents and businesses in the Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast councils’ geographic regions.
• Collecting, treating and disposing of sewage.
• Operating sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Managing and maintaining our water supply and sewerage infrastructure and assets.
• Issuing and managing new water supply and sewerage accounts for residential and business customers.

Unitywater services a population of around 670,000 people (residents in total) across an area of 5,138 km². We manage water supply and sewerage service accounts for approximately 270,000 properties in this area.

We represent the local region on water supply and sewerage service issues in the new South East Queensland (SEQ) water industry, and work with businesses and communities to meet the SEQ region’s local economic, social, environmental and water management needs.
