Moving your meter

If your water meter is buried or obscured, you can ask us to raise or lower it. We can also move your water meter to a different area on your property if the current placement interferes with construction plans such as the driveway path.

If you would like to have your water meter moved, please submit the relevant form below to Unitywater, pay the applicable fee and one of our friendly staff members will be in contact with you to arrange an appropriate time to carry out the service.

Please note: In line with the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008, it is an offence to interfere, move or tamper with a water meter and penalties apply. It is also important to note water meters are not always able to be moved to where the customer desires and Unitywater will advise you of the relevant issues upon application.
