Sometimes in life we find ourselves in situations outside of our control. If you or someone you know is in a vulnerable situation, things can become overwhelming and you may not know where or how to ask for help. There are many different reasons why you might need to reach out for assistance, and we want to make it easier for you. Unitywater has put together a list of resources and organisations to help point our customers in the right direction of what support is available in the community.
Ask Izzy is a free and anonymous website that connects people with support services for a variety of needs, some categories include, but are not limited to:
- Financial Stress
- Domestic Family Violence
- Mental health
- Counselling Services
- Communication and technology barriers.
When you visit Ask Izzy, click on the service you require and then enter your postcode. The search results will provide you with the closest organisation to assist you, along with their phone number and address for your convenience.
If you're going through a personal crisis, there is always help available. You can contact any of these free and confidential services.
