At Unitywater, we value our place in the communities that we serve.
You will often find our staff out and about in our beautiful region, lending a hand and supporting local groups to deliver charitable initiatives.
uVolunteer - at work in the community
We are proud of our talented and diverse workforce.
Through uVolunteer, our staff members are able to donate one day each year to support charities in our communities.
From team working bees and bush care projects, to individual staff members supporting small community initiatives, our staff are actively contributing the health and wellbeing of our customers, communities and the environment.
Kids in Care Christmas Appeal
Our 2016 Christmas gift drive supported foster children in care from the Caboolture region, through the Department of Child Safety’s Kids in Care Christmas Appeal.
Unitywater staff donated an amazing assortment of toys, books, games and other gifts.
We were really pleased to make Christmas that little bit brighter for local kids in foster care.
Knock knock, give a sock
To mark Homelessness Awareness Week, our staff worked together to collect and donate more than 360 pairs of new socks to the Maroochy Neighbourhood Centre.
Staff from the Unitywater Contact Centre coordinated the collection and Customer Service Operator Louise hand-delivered the socks to Mark from the Neighbourhood Centre.
As an extension of our corporate partnership with WaterAid, 15 Unitywater staff members came together to raise more than $10,500 for WaterAid Australia through uWash.
The team was made up of staff from a variety of branches with a diverse array of skill sets. They worked together to contribute a solution to a real-world sanitation problem being faced in Cambodia's floating communities.
