Request a Trade Waste Search

A Trade Waste Search will inform you of any existing trade waste activity on a property, including: 

• that you are aware of the condition and size of the pre-treatment device prior to purchase, as non-serviced devices can be costly to repair or replace.

• if servicing of any pre-treatment device is up to date

• if trade waste fees are up to date at settlement (if applicable)

• if the business owner has an existing trade waste discharge permit.

You’ll receive your Trade Waste Search Certificate within 10 working days of requesting it.

You’ll receive your report via mail or email that:

• provides details of any trade waste activity on the premises 

• provides details of conditions (size, condition, servicing) which apply to the current Trade Waste Permit.

Please note: If you purchase a business that has an existing trade waste discharge permit, you’ll need to apply to have a new permit issued in your name as the permit must be under the business owner's name.
