They engage with communities to stand up and speak up to be part of the social change needed to prevent domestic and family violence. We are supporting them by funding short films where sporting clubs, members and community leaders take the oath and share key messages to increase the awareness.
The Blue Butterfly Foundation, for Trauma and Abuse, provides therapy and psychological services for people recovering from domestic or family violence, trauma or abuse. Unitywater is supporting them through a community grant to fund a therapy program and a number of subsidised therapy sessions.
Sunshine Coast Family Contact Centre, operating as Harmony House, is a not-for-profit organisation that facilitates a child’s contact between separated parents. Unitywater is supporting Harmony House by funding therapy sessions for children affected by family separation due to domestic and family violence.
