We know some of our customers are doing it tough after being impacted by the late-February extreme wet weather event.
We offered a $50 flood rebate to customers whose properties were inundated. This is equivalent to the average amount of water a family of four uses in two weeks, or running a garden hose for eight hours straight. This rebate was intended to help cover the cost of water used for cleaning.
Applications have now closed
Customers had until 31 May 2022 to complete the application form.
We are now assessing all applications, and this may take 6-8 weeks.
Once approved, the rebate will appear on the next bill after the 31 May application closing date.
