The map is designed to help people access Water on Tap and reduce single-use plastics.
Unitywater Executive Manager Customer and Community Katherine Gee said the map made it easier for people to find tap water when they were out and about.
“Our refill stations are easy to spot in public but the map allows you to plan ahead and know where you can go to refill for free,” she said.
“To release the map during Plastic-Free July has been an added bonus and we hope the community finds it useful.
“We’re really proud to do our part for the environment and our refill stations and broader Water on Tap program has avoided about 175,000 single-use plastic bottles being bought over the last year.
“Our Back to Tap vans are used for community events every week and we’ve just introduced some smaller portable water refill units that we also have available for loan.”
