The utility took out gold for Best Learning and Development Project - Induction/ Onboarding at the 2019 LearnX Impact Awards.

“We are so thrilled that our new program has been recognised,” Unitywater Acting Executive Manager People Culture and Safety Rosie Dixon said.

“We’ve worked really hard to improve the learning experience for new team members, to help them settle in faster, feel part of the team and learn about our role in keeping communities healthy from their first day.

“The new online learning connects our people with our purpose and provides a great overview of how our business works and the integral but lesser known role we play in the community. It’s very engaging and tells our story through animation and team member videos.

“We are really proud of this achievement and couldn’t have done it without our partner, Croomo, who have been excellent to work with.”

Croomo Head of Sales Wayne Bell said: “We loved collaborating with Unitywater to bring their brand to life at this important stage of the employee onboarding process.

“They're a great client to work with and it was an honour to win gold together at the industry's best-recognised learning awards, LearnX.”

The award will be formally presented at the FuturistiX Live! event in Melbourne in October.
