Your quarterly bill is an investment in today and tomorrow
It allows us to deliver you safe and reliable water and wastewater services.
It also supports the State Government’s bulk water network, and some of it goes back to shareholding councils to support other services in our region.

For every $100 we collected in 2024-2025, we used:
$25 to the State Government
For bulk water charges – repaying investment in the SEQ Water Grid and funding daily operation of the network that catches, stores and treats water before it comes to our region.
$27 for operating expenses
This covers our daily running costs like fuel, electricity and chemicals as well as the tools, machinery and vehicles our local teams use as they respond to faults 24/7, from Everton Hills to Eumundi.
$21 to local councils
This covers interest on loans, tax equivalents and dividends returned to the City of Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa Councils. This supports delivery of their community services like local playgrounds, sports centres and libraries.
$27 to upgrade and expand infrastructure
An investment in pipes and pumps – renewing those already in the ground to ensure reliable services for existing customers, while expanding the network to connect new homes being built to welcome people to our rapidly growing region.
