The Executive Leadership Team, headed by the Chief Executive Officer, leads the daily operation of Unitywater and is directed by The Board.
The team is firmly focused on improving customer service, achieving operational efficiencies and providing high quality, affordable and sustainable sewerage services and water supply for our community.
Anna Jackson
Chief Executive Officer
Anna Jackson was appointed Chief Executive Officer in July 2022. Anna comes to Unitywater from state government-owned SA Water, where most recently she was General Manager Customer and Commercial. Anna has also held executive roles responsible for business strategy, water security and quality, innovation, customer engagement and environmental and social governance.
Anna currently holds roles on the Australian Water Partnership Advisory Committee as well as Water Services Association of Australia’s Liveable Communities Committee.
Previously, Anna held roles in Australia and Asia Pacific for large multi-national Coffey, and aerospace and defence company Raytheon.
Pauline Thomson
Chief Financial Officer
Pauline Thomson was appointed Chief Financial Officer in January 2011 and is responsible for Unitywater’s finance, procurement and IT functions as well and Strategy, Regulation, Pricing and Business Development. Pauline is an experienced executive bringing more than 25 years of accounting, finance and regulatory experience from retail and distribution businesses across the energy and water sectors.
Pauline previously held executive and senior manager roles at Energex and Powerlink. Pauline is a Certified Practising Accountant and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Rhett Duncan
Executive Manager - Customer Delivery
Rhett has more than 15 years’ leadership experience at executive and general management levels. He is responsible for Unitywater’s safe and efficient operation of the water supply and sewerage systems to provide reliable services to customers.
Rhett has previously worked in Waste Management, Transport Infrastructure and Construction Materials and led teams in challenging and changing business environments.
Katherine Gee
Executive Manager - Customer and Community
Throughout her extensive experience in both the private and public sector, Katherine has gained deep insight into the needs of customers and the community.
Her roles in telecommunications, local government and the water industry have included implementing major customer management systems, transforming customer experience and delivering organisational change.
Kenan Hibberd
Executive Manager - People, Culture and Safety
Kenan was appointed in July 2012. Kenan has 30 years of experience in human resources and safety leadership in both the public and private sectors and has held senior management positions in national and international organisations in the industrial services, engineering, logistics and health sectors.
Kenan is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
Daniel Lambert
Executive Manager - Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions
Daniel joined Unitywater in 2022 to lead our strategic planning, asset management, capital delivery and water solutions functions. He brings over 20 years of experience in strategy, design and delivery working on water, energy and waste infrastructure projects spanning more than 25 countries.
He is a Fellow of both Engineers Australia and the Institute of Managers and Leaders. Daniel is a Chartered Professional Engineer, a qualified Engineering Executive and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Daniel serves in a number of industry roles including the Australian Water Partnership Expert Advisory Panel, as the Chair of Carbon8 Fund, a Director of Engineers Without Borders Australia and on the Technical Advisory Board of Operation Water.
