As we head into the warmer months, be a Local Water Legend and stay H2OK!
Small changes can make a big difference to your water usage and save you money at the same time. Combined dam levels in South East Queensland have dropped below 60% and we’re asking everyone to be water wise to help reach our regional target of 150 litres per person, per day.
So spread the word to your family, friends and co-workers, and together we can all be Local Water Legends.
Sunshine Coast Lightning are Local Water Legends
Sunshine Coast Lightning are both legends on the netball court, and off. Unitywater has ‘teamed up’ with them to help encourage our communities to be water wise, and with dam levels dropping, we can all work together to save water.
Lightning players Steph Wood and Laura ‘Shez’ Scherian (pictured) are encouraging their teammates and the community to ‘shoot’ for shorter shower times and ‘defend’ the region’s dam levels. Go Lightning!
