About our Laboratory

Unitywater Laboratory provides a broad range of quality water services and expertise to support businesses and the community. Located in Morayfield, we offer accredited sampling, chemistry and microbiology testing.

Local results you can trust - we pride ourselves on quality service, faster turnaround times and customer support. 

Convenient - we offer two convenient drop off locations for your water samples in Morayfield and Maroochydore.

Accreditation

Our Laboratory is accredited under the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) to AS ISO/IEC 17025. We are third party certified to the Quality Management ISO 9001, Environmental Management ISO 14001, Occupational Health and Safety AS/NZS 4801, and Food Safety Management ISO 22000 certification. 

The laboratory maintains NATA accreditation to comply with AS ISO/IEC 17025 general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, and also adheres to the requirements of Unitywater’s Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) to meet the requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Our team bring an exceptional breadth of experience in the microbiology, chemistry and environmental science of water monitoring, sampling and testing.

Test reports 

Test reports are typically emailed within five business days. Allow extra time if you require your results to be posted. 

  • Reports will be emailed to you in either PDF and Excel CSV formats.
  • For a quicker turn-around-time, please email the laboratory before you collect your samples to check if this option is available. Additional charges may apply.

The Unitywater laboratories use a Laboratory Information Management System, commonly referred to as LIMS.
