We introduced new fees and charges for processing connections applications on 8 April 2019.
We have done this to create a fairer, more transparent cost structure with an emphasis on user pays.
This new approach allows us for the first time to recover our costs when
providing certification services to developers. From 8 April, Unitywater will no longer be subsidising these expenses. This, along with certification, enables us to deliver greater
cost efficiencies across our entire customer base.
Unitywater is now setting Development Services fees and charges to more accurately reflect what it costs us to provide them.
This will lead to faster connections approvals, now delivered with more fairness and more choice.
